Intraosseous catheters are at risk of improper placement or dislodgement, necessitating effective confirmation methods

SureWave IO Confirm leverages the intraosseous waveform analysis technique for confirmation of correct IO catheter placement, which was first described by Sabra Medical’s founder, Dr. Greenstein. The device is a self-calibrating, sterile, single-use, disposable physiological pressure transducer system with an integrated digital display capable of displaying a numerical and continuous waveform representation of pressure data in the intraosseous space. It connects directly to an intraosseous catheter and converts changes in pressure into a digital readout for immediate assessment of appropriate catheter placement.
